Role Description

We are currently looking for Consultant Psychiatrists and Specialty Doctors at The Edinburgh Practice. As a Consultant Psychiatrist/Specialty Doctor, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans and prescribe medication. This is an on-site role located in Edinburgh with a minimum commitment of 2 days per week with capacity to practice full time due to current demand.

Our Preferred Requirements

  • Medical degree and on the specialist register
  • Registered with the GMC
  • Aligned with our core values: compassion, personal growth, safety, courage and integrity
  • Experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health disorders
  • Preferably experience of assessing and diagnosing adults with ADHD
  • Preferably experience of treating adults with ADHD
  • Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in private practice is advantageous
