Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Evans has been practicing as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist since 2005.
She can be found on the specialist register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr Evans graduated from The University of Pretoria South Africa in 1996 with Distinction in medicine, paediatrics and surgery. She completed pre–registration training in the Royal Infirmary in Edinburgh after 6 months working in Namibia in Orthopaedics and ophthalmology. Basic paediatric training was completed up to membership level at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.
Core and specialist training in psychiatry was completed on the South East Scotland Training Scheme. MRC Psych November 2004. CCT in child and adolescent psychiatry was obtained in August 2011.
Alongside her work at The Edinburgh Practice, Dr Evans is currently working part–time in a substantive post as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for NHS Lothian based at the North of Edinburgh CAHMS team, a tier 3 CAHMS service. She has previous experience working in an early intervention service from which she has gained a lot of experience in working with adolescents, young adults and students alike.
