Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
Dr Ronzoni is currently the a CAMHS inpatient Consultant and the CAMHS Regional Lead for the North of Scotland. He has been an inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist since November 2017 and prior to this, he held the role of Associate Clinical Director for an NHS Foundation Trust in England and a community Consultant role. His special clinical interests are centred on emotional disorders, neuro-developmental disorders, intellectual disabilities and their interphase with Attachment Disorders and developmental trauma.Dr Ronzoni gained a Master in Public Health by the University of Sheffield and was granted an Academic and Clinical Fellowship by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), where he develop an interested in improving children’s health inequalities and access to services, their experiences of mental health services and quality indicators of mental health. His academic background and publications includes social and cultural psychiatry, with particular emphasis on ethnicity, migration and culture and their impact on mental health.Teaching, consultation and multi-agency support are of particular interest. Dr Ronzoni is a Recognised Trainer (ROT), Clinical and Educational Supervisor for postgraduate psychiatric trainees and the Systems in Practice (SiP) Psychiatry Convener for undergraduate medical training with the University of Dundee Medical School.
