Degrees and Education
Clinical Practice
I am a specialist clinical psychologist with a broad range of experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults.
I work with a spectrum of difficulties, ranging from worry, anxiety, and depression to autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, behavioural difficulties, OCD, phobias, self-harm, interpersonal difficulties, self-esteem issues, anger, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and abuse.
I have also published a range of research in peer-reviewed academic journals and presented my research at international conferences.
My Therapeutic Approach
Spending time developing a shared understanding of a client’s difficulties is fundamental to my work, and allows me to work collaboratively to tailor interventions for clients and maximise benefits. I pull different therapies together, using specialist skills in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
Above all else, I prioritise creating a safe, trusting space for clients to help them work on what is most important to them.
