Experiences
For the past 7 years I have worked in a variety of settings, but primarily within education. I have experience working with all age groups within nurseries, primary schools and high schools, including working as a 1:1 learning support worker for children with additional support needs.

In my role as a nursery practitioner, I worked closely with the children in my care and their families. I am passionate about supporting families and ensuring that children feel listened to, heard and cared for by all adults in their lives.

Across the span of 5 summers, I worked at an American Summer Camp in Ohio. Here, I worked in many positions including horse riding instructor, arts and crafts leader, unit leader and young adventurers coordinator. Working away from my home country, experiencing new cultures, teaching some amazing and extremely bright individuals including those with learning difficulties or autism/ADHD has been incredibly rewarding.

The skills that I have gained from these experiences have been invaluable, including leadership, organisation, compassion and integrity. I feel these are vital in any role, but especially when working with adults and young people who require support with their mental health.

I have worked at The Edinburgh Practice for a year now in the role of administrator and enjoy meeting old and new clients and getting to know everyone. I love doing my part to help with what can be an extremely difficult time for people/families and supporting our wonderful and experienced clinicians in whatever way is required.
