Assistant Psychologist

Since December 2017, I have been working as an Assistant Psychologist at The Edinburgh Practice. I assist Psychologists and Psychiatrists working with children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioural and psychiatric difficulties. I am also part of the practice administration team, as well as responsible for the resource database management, marketing and social media engagement.

Alongside this work, I am a final year PhD student in Clinical Psychology, School of Health in Social Science at the University of Edinburgh. My PhD is based on child and adolescent mental health and well-being across cultures. I am also a Postgraduate Tutor at the School of Health in Social Science and Moray House School of Education. Further, I am part of two exciting research projects: 1) Father Friendly Schools: a collaboration project between the University of Edinburgh and the Fathers network Scotland. 2) Youth Arts View: exploring youths’ perception of terrorism and violence through art.
