Dr Anne Wylie

Specialty Doctor

Dr Wylie has enjoyed pursuing her chosen career of Paediatrics and CAMHS. She has gained much experience working within the NHS since she qualified from the University of Dundee in 2001.

Dr Wylie currently works in CAMHS, with children and young people who have or may have Neurodevelopmental disorders and comorbid Sleep difficulties. Since returning to CAMHS in 2016, Dr Wylie’s role has primarily entailed the assessment, diagnosis and management of children and young people presenting with symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has also been proactively involved in the assessment of those children and young people with more complex formulations: such as those who present with dual diagnoses (ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, ASD) and those who have had a history of Trauma or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Dr Wylie recently completed the formal training in delivery of the ADI-R and ADOS-2 assessments which are recognised Diagnostics tools as part of the assessment and work up for ASD.

Dr Wylie is very passionate about her work with Neurodiverse children and young people and their families (care givers). She enthusiastically advocates on their behalf to ensure their needs are better understood and met in all settings eg home, school, college, clubs or work place.
