Proud to sponsor Health Inequalities in Scotland: The State of the Nation

The Edinburgh Practice was delighted to sponsor and attend Health Inequalities in Scotland: The State of the Nation Summit on 17 September at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.

Event organisers, Holyrood, worked closely with public health thought leaders, including Public Health Scotland, to host the one day summit event to bring together Scotland’s leading public health voices from the public, private and third sectors to share innovation, make connections and explore the practical steps that can be taken to inspire change.

The day included:

  • Exploration of initiatives that have been successful in tackling health inequalities;
  • Discussions on solutions to specific challenges such as smoking and obesity; and
  • Consideration of the roles that different sectors such as life sciences, can and are playing.

Themes of leadership, digital inclusion, innovation, partnership working, and sustainability were covered throughout the event, with interactive audience engagement sessions.

The team welcomed delegates to our stand on the exhibition floor and enjoyed meeting delegates and discussing mental health issues and priorities in Scotland.
