Working with ‘Smls’ a Community Interest Group to Support Young People

The Edinburgh Practice is working with ‘Smls’ – a Community Interest Company (CIC) to help provide free therapy sessions for 16 to 18-year-olds.

Smls have been fund raising for several years to raise funds for this initiative through various events.  Including their annual PAIN ultramarathon around Edinburgh covering 133km, which is taking place again this September.  Find out more here

Smls, The Edinburgh Practice and Victoria GP Practice are worthing together to offer young people access to mental health support.

Danny Allan, Founder of Smls commented: “To our incredible partners and everyone behind the scenes — thank you. You’ve helped create a pathway that’s clear, supportive, and built to make a real difference.  The launch of the initiative is a big moment for us — and we’re just getting started!”

The Edinburgh Practice will provide clinical psychology, psychiatry and dietetic appointments for young people referred by the Victoria GP Practice.
