Connecting with Nature: Welcoming Trellis to the Practice

The practice was delighted to welcome Trellis for a special drop-in session on Thursday 10 September, bringing together staff and clients to create fragrant herbal bath bags and learn more about the benefits of therapeutic horticulture. The session provided an opportunity to meet the Trellis team and explore how gardening can support wellbeing, build connections, and improve both mental and physical health.

As the practice’s Charity of the Year, we are proud to support the fantastic work Trellis does and the positive impact of therapeutic horticulture. Research has shown that therapeutic horticulture can help reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as alleviate feelings of stress, fear, anger, sadness and pain. It was wonderful to offer staff and clients the opportunity to engage in this creative activity and learn more about how connecting with nature can support wellbeing.
