Taking Part in Everywoman Festival’s first Pop-Up event in Edinburgh

The practice was delighted to take part in the Everywoman Festival’s first Pop-Up event in Edinburgh on 6 & 7 June, in partnership with Edinburgh Medical School 300 and Meadows Festival.

The practice had a stand at the event providing information on services and offering free merchandise to visitors.  Visitors to the stand were also invited to take part in a values card exercise, encouraging reflection on the personal values that guide everyday choices, relationships and wellbeing. The activity sparked thoughtful conversations and provided an opportunity for people to connect with what matters most to them.  The team enjoyed meeting people at the event and providing more information on services at the practice.

Clinical Lead, Dr Julia Hannon delivered a choir-based CBT session, exploring how music and connection can support wellbeing.  It was fantastic to see so many people engaging with the creative session and accessible approach to mental health.
