My Clinical Practice
Dr Bansal is a Consultant Psychiatrist specialising in intellectual disability psychiatry. She completed her medical training in London and undertook psychiatric training in Birmingham and Edinburgh, gaining broad clinical experience across multiple NHS trusts in the UK and in New Zealand. She has been practising in Scotland since 2020.
She has a particular interest in neurodevelopmental disorders and gambling disorder, and is actively involved in research in these areas. Dr Bansal has specialist expertise in the assessment and treatment of ADHD in adults, including those with intellectual disabilities, and adopts a tailored, holistic approach grounded in human rights principles.
She is committed to delivering evidence-based, high-quality care with compassion, collaboration, and respect for individual needs.
