Training and Clinical Experience

Dr Das indulged her interest in exploring the UK, after finishing her medical degree in Dundee she undertook her general psychiatry training in the South of England, completing her training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Yorkshire and Humberside. Following working as a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist in Yorkshire and Humber,  and the Humberside CAMHS clinical lead Dr Das moved to Ireland working in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. During these years Dr Das has had extensive experience working in all areas of CAMHS including neurodevelopmental assessment and ADHD treatment. She maintains an interest in Family and Systemic approaches and ensuring a holistic approach to the person.

Dr Das is on the specialist register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Current Professional Positions

Dr Das is currently a Consultant Psychiatrist within NHS Fife, with special area of interest, paediatric liaison. She is a trainer and appraiser within NHS Fife.
