My Clinical Experience

I began my career in Spain in 2013, working with young people, adults, and families living with complex and enduring mental-health difficulties. Those early years taught me how relationships can support recovery and strengthened my commitment to a therapeutic approach grounded in connection, communication, and shared understanding within families.

After moving to Scotland in 2015, I continued to build on this approach through work across third-sector organisations, medical settings, and private practice. Over the years, I have accompanied individuals, couples, and families through experiences of anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, and relationship challenges. I have also worked with families navigating life transitions such as adolescence, separation, blended family life, and bereavement.

I currently work part-time for a third-sector organisation supporting children, young people, and families waiting for, or recently assessed by, CAMHS for neurodiversity or anxiety-related concerns. I also work with parents and carers exploring the emotional impact of physical illness and caring responsibilities, creating space to reflect on their experiences and relationships. Alongside my clinical work, I offer reflective sessions for professionals and teams who work with young people, supporting them to integrate a relational and family lens into their practice and reflect on the systems that shape their work.

My Theraputic Approach

I work with individuals, couples, children, young people, and families, offering a calm and supportive space where people can talk openly and feel heard. My style is warm, collaborative, and inclusive, creating an environment where every voice is valued.

I draw on Systemic Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy to explore the emotional and relational patterns that may leave people feeling stuck or misunderstood. These approaches open space for reflection, dialogue, and new perspectives within relationships, helping families and couples move toward connection, resilience, and shared understanding.

When working with children, I use play and creative techniques to support expression and participation, helping them feel involved and understood. Across all my work, I aim to create a caring and reflective space that encourages openness, understanding, and connection within relationships.

Systemic & Family Psychotherapy

Systemic and family psychotherapy can help those in close relationships to better understand and support each other. It enables family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely, understand each other’s experiences and views, and appreciate each other’s needs. Through this process, individuals and families can develop a shared understanding of their difficulties, creating opportunities to build on their strengths and work together toward meaningful and lasting change in their relationships and lives.

Systemic and family psychotherapists work with individuals, couples, children, young people, and families, as well as carers and professionals who wish to reflect on relationships and work more collaboratively.
