My Clinical Practice
I am an experienced Pharmacist with over 16 years experience working across a range of pharmacy settings, supporting patients with varied healthcare needs and helping them feel confident in their treatment and care.
Throughout my career, I have maintained a strong interest in mental health, which led me to complete my Independent Prescribing qualification to further develop my skills in this area. As part of my training, I spent time within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), gaining valuable experience in supporting children and young people with mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions.
I am passionate about providing patient-centred care and building trusting relationships with patients and families. My approach combines clinical knowledge with open communication and a commitment to improving overall wellbeing.
My Therapeutic Approach
As an Independent Prescribing Pharmacist specialising in mental health, I provide holistic, patient-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs, with a focus on supporting positive clinical outcomes and a better quality of life. My approach draws on specialist knowledge of mental health medications while giving equal consideration to the physical and emotional aspects of a person’s health. I believe in building warm, collaborative relationships where patients feel understood, informed, and involved in decisions about their care. I work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure every patient receives safe, effective, and well-coordinated support throughout their treatment journey.
