We are sponsoring Health Inequalities in Scotland: The State of the Nation
The Edinburgh Practice will be sponsoring and attending Health Inequalities in Scotland: The State of the Nation Summit on 17 September at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh.
Event organisers, Holyrood, have worked closely with public health thought leaders, including Public Health Scotland, to host the one day summit event to bring together Scotland’s leading public health voices from the public, private and third sectors to share innovation, make connections and explore the practical steps that can be taken to inspire change.
Over the course of the day, sessions will:
- Explore initiatives that have been successful in tackling health inequalities;
- Discuss solutions to specific challenges such as smoking and obesity; and
- Consider the roles that different sectors such as life sciences, can and are playing.
Themes of leadership, digital inclusion, innovation, partnership working, and sustainability will be woven through the event, and interactive audience engagement sessions
We will have a stand on the exhibition floor and are looking forward to meeting delegates and discussing mental health issues and priorities in Scotland.
